FIA WEC 6 Hours of Spa

FIA WEC 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps
4th – 7th May 2017

The FIA World Endurance Championship comes to the historic circuit of Spa-Francorchamps. The FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) is collaboration between the FIA and the ACO, the body responsible for the Le Mans 24 Hours and for putting together the rules and regulations that have governed endurance racing for decades. The FIA WEC is designed to attract manufacturer interest back to the endurance racing discipline and they have been very successful with teams from Audi, Porsche, Toyota and Nissan all competing in the top prototype class.

The 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps is seen as the last test before Le Mans, but it is also a great race in its own right. This is not a practice. Le Mans prototype and GT cars competing around the spectacular Spa-Francorchamps circuit is a sight not to be missed. Watching racing through the famous corners such as Eau Rouge, Bus Stop and La Source is great for spectators with access to grandstands and the paddock included. Walking the footpath around the whole circuit brings further rewards with different views and angles around every corner.

Practice and qualifying takes place on Friday with the 6 hours race happening the following afternoon and in to the night.

We have hotel and camping options for those wishing to join us at this great race.
